Danielle and I met our freshman year in college. Two crazy girls who luckily crossed paths during a smoke break [yes, you read that correctly] outside of our dorm. If you were to ask either of us now, it was fate that we even chose to attend Seton Hall University - just so that we could meet and [instantly] become best friends. Over the course of four years we shared a public relations major, three different apartments [shout out to everyone who helped us move each year], many drunken nights [and hungover mornings], and even more irreplaceable memories.
Five years postgrad, we now live a few hours apart and life happened - so with relationships, houses, careers, and more - it's not always easy to get together as much as we'd like. So, as I mentioned in the post about our Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg adventure, we try to plan chunks of time and fun activities to reconnect.
It was a few weeks ago now, but Danielle and I shared the most amazing weekend together out in the Hamptons. Beaching, biking, brunching, gabbing, hammock lounging - Montauk was the perfect setting to spend a long weekend with a bestie.
