I love a list. And LOVE is probably even an understatement. I live my life around lists – yes, lists – as in multiple lists in multiple places.
So, the same as every summer, I want to “unofficially” kick it off with a list – don’t worry, it’s the fun kind!
And also a quick reminder that now is the perfect time to design the summer (and life) of your dreams. Feed energy and time into what you want, how you want to feel, and what you want to accomplish this summer and I guarantee it will be one for the record books.
Meditate, manifest, and work your tooshy off to live the life that you imagine.
While my personal goals, wishes and desired accomplishments are (as always) pretty private – I’d love to give you some inspiration for the types of activities you can envision for yourself and your summer (the abridged version). Of course, we all want different things in life. What makes you tick is very different than what makes my world go ‘round. Be quiet. Listen to where you are being led – and take action to get there.
*Most of these have already been planned and penned into my calendar – of course – I’m a planner. I will share some of the below adventures with you in detail throughout the summer.
Frida Kahlo exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden
Drinks in fun places (Rooftop at The Met, Loopy Doopy Bar, Ninety Acres, Liberty House, Pazzo Pazzo, Jockey Hollow at Vail Mansion)
Champagne picnics (at the annual Balloon Festival, in an open flower field, by the pond, at the top of a good hike)
Berry picking (strawberry, blueberry and blackberry season) + flower cutting
Host at home (ice cream social, wine and cheese, italiano)
Yoga and meditation under the stars
Enjoy family and friends in our favorite summer destinations (LBI, Lake George, Montauk)
Water sports (paddleboarding, boating, wake surfing)
Farmer's markets followed by cold brew in the park (my perfect sunday morning with R)
Stop, breathe and enjoy the summer sunsets (I have a new favorite field to watch in)
BRUNCH - outdoor weather means lots of outdoor brunches
