I’mma change your life.
Do you set goals? Do you record your dreams? Have you created a vision board, wrote a 1,5,10 year plan, envisioned what your life looks like in the future, and then felt how that all feels?
A power bitch knows the importance of planning (please note: I also have an OCD obsession with my daily planner – which is obviously not for everyone). Your planning - lists, thoughts, and visions can and will be manifested.
If writing a ten year plan aligning with your goals and visions just made you spit out your latte, choke on your lunch, or start breaking out in hives (it’s a task that still makes me anxious) - start small.
At the beginning of every season I like to take some time and make a quick list of things that I want to get accomplished.
Fall just started – so now is the perfect time to set aside 15 minutes and jot down 5 things you want to accomplish, or places you want to go, or goals you want to meet before the new year.
For example, here was my summer FUN list:
- Strawberry picking (accomplished)
- Tattoo (accomplished)
- Henna (did not accomplish)
- Picnic (accomplished)
- Aerobatics on the pier (have a reservation for next weekend)
- Paddleboard (accomplished)
6 items. 4 accomplished. 1 in limbo and 1 not met. Pretty damn good if you ask me.
I promise, power bitch – you will literally be amazed when you look back and see what you set in place in those 15 minutes. This exercise and self-accountability is just a prep exercise for setting your 2014 goals! Woo!
Ready? Set? Write!
(PS I promise to share more planning tips over time and as I acquire them. Have any good ones to share?)
